Services

From birth through young adulthood, we provide routine well child care, education, and immunizations.  We also provide urgent care for the ill or injured child.

When a child is injured, we provide you with critical first aid instrutions by phone and help you decide if your child needs to be seen in our office or in the Emergency Room.

We can save you a trip to the Emergency Room by  suturing, splinting fractures, and removing foreign bodies in our office.

We generally refer our patients to Golisano Children's Hospital or Rochester General Hospital - the two hopitals in Rochester that have Pediatricians in the Emergency Room at all times.

The following services are discussed below:

  • Emergencies
  • Acute Problems - Illness and Injuries
  • Pre-Natal Visits
  • Well Baby/Well Child Visits
  • Adolescents
  • ADHD and Other Behavioral Problems
  • Asthma and Allergies
  • Injuries and Sports Issues
  • Lifestyle and Wellness, Nutrition
  • Emergencies

In the event of a life-threatening emergency(for example, your child is not breathing), call 9-1-1 and have your child taken to Golisano Children's Hospital or Rochester General Hospital.  Please call the office the next day to inform the secretary so that she can follow the requirement for the insurance companies on emergency department visits.

  • Acute Problems - Illness and Injuries

We offer same day appointments for sick or injured children.

Our phones open at 8 a.m. to schedule an appointment.

We strive to assign patients to their primary physician first.

Please don't wait until afternoon to call regarding a sick child.

  • Pre-Natal Visits

    Congratulations on expecting a child!

It is important for you to choose a physician that you and your spouse are comfortable with and a facility and staff that are welcoming.

Once you have selected a pediatrician, you will want to schedule a prenatal visit with that doctor.  Most insurance companies will pay for one pre-natal visit to a pediatrician.  The prenatal visit is your opportunity to talk to your child's new doctor and become familiar with the care of your soon to be newborn.  You can discuss any problems that have occurred during your current or past pregnancies, and the prenatal visit allows the doctor to have one-on-one time with you to answer any questions you might have about what happens after delivery, how often the baby will need to be seen, vaccines, etc.  We're sure you'll feel confident in our staff and comfortable at our office.  Just call our office to schedule a prenatal visit with the doctor of you choice.  Or, call our office to find out when our next Open House is and come by and meet the staff and see the facility first-hand.

  • Well Baby/Child Visits

Well Child visits are scheduled with the primary physician and are scheduled in advance.  We try to have our schedules 3 months out so that you can book these ahead.

We emphasize healthy lifestyles and follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended vaccine schedule for children and adolescents.
